The pumpkins are ready for Trick or Treat!  The girls picked a Frozen theme for this year.  I think next year it's my turn to pick the theme.  The moon and the bat are the work of the two artists in residence, Sophia &  Allie!

Olaf - He likes warm hugs!

This time around Alexa gets to show off her creative side!  She's a diaper cake specialist, and here's one that she made for her cousin Anna's baby shower.  

Alexa and I took a little day trip to the Boscobel House & Gardens in Garrison.  It's an old Federal Style mansion from the early 1800's that was relocated from Montrose, NY in the 50's.  It's fully restored to it's original condition and very cool.  The grounds are right on the Hudson with great views of the river, West Point and the Bear Mountain Bridge.  There's also an art gallery in the basement and sculptures throughout the grounds too.  All in all a really nice day.

I just picked up a light tent to start taking pictures of the girl's art work, and I'm gonna try and post the best ones here as often as I can.

This is Sophia's latest masterpiece.  Sophia & Allie have both been taking some art classes at the Katonah Art Center, one for drawing and another for sculpture.  You can expect to see some of their stuff from class on here soon!

We've been missing someone on this site... Frida!  It's even harder to get her to pose for a pic than the girls!
